Well we made a lot of these and they were very successful if used correctly.
It was only a matter of removing the excavator bucket and tipping links, The bucket ram was then connected to the top eye and a bracket had to be welded to the dipper arm. Later ones we made ended up looking a bit like a Christmas tree as we added a wedge to back up the large retaining nut as they had a tendency to try and undo themselves I personally cut thousands of tonnes of metal up with one without incident a splash of oil or grease had a dramatic effect on the shears cutting performance. Sadly they were very easy to abuse as the end portion had no cutting blades and if the steel was not positioned correctly in the throat of the shear the resulting damage was usually terminal. We used a Swedish memory steel for the main frame.

 Ok now i want to tell you what i do with a laptop and why it gets me so excited , Well i am 49 years old so never saw a computer when i grew up just were not invented. Well in my twenty,s got involved with computers and learnt how to program them in basic if anyone remembers that pretty simple stuff but saw how useful it was and made a few quid as well , now computers nowadays have no relation to what you lot are playing with, Anyway lets get started i use turbocad design software i can create just about anything in it but i am only really interested in the mechanical stuff because of my previous experience in the manufacturing side of things , But turbocad is a lot more than just that i can sit here and create 3d graphics for advertisers i can design stuff with it and i can market stuff with it a neat little trick is to put your name into an image and get a plug on website where they do not usually let you do that sort of thing.  Ok so what ? ...well i have not moved anywhere there is no cost associated with it once i have bought a cad program and another clever trick for budding cad students is the file associated with the picture well the pictures look great on their own but the file is data that you can make the sucker with.
And we still have not moved from the armchair yet
Ok what else ? Well i have about fifteen websites running at the moment with adverts on most and can publish one a day if i wanted to and they are free so i still have not spent a penny appart from the initial cost of the software.
Next up is twitter social network it is free and therefore a must for you why ?
Well instead of spending money on search engine optimisation and the like get on twitter this site you are looking at was no 1 on google no 1 on yahoo and no 2 on msn it is not now as i am sending my twitter traffic to a recycling blog i am doing so again free and if you only use it for search engine optimisation what the heck but it does so much more for FREE.
So what else codehot email free to use takes all of 30 seconds to set up and off you go.
Ok so what else well there is the wordpress platform i run three of these but i do not promote them as i have a glitch on my dashboard and am not sure where the blame is yet.
Ok what else well i could go on for hours but this is my point the free stuff out there is vastly underused and there is a lot of it i can asssure you.
Ever seen this I MADE £3,000 on google this week ? Well i never have and never will i suppose this line is intended for the sheep to follow and maybe the guy does make £3000 off the sheep good look to him or her for that matter personally i find a typo on about 90% of these but i still keep looking well not so much nowadays .
So are we getting any wiser now do not get me wrong none of this stuff is dead easy to learn so get ready to put hundreds of hours into learning it.
Why now well why not grants are available in the uk for cad and if you are sat holding a diploma that says you are the smartest sucker on the planet and do not need the hassle right now as jobs are going to be falling from the sky think again they are not if you are a student and are sat there thinking i have done my bit now three years study or whatever ..That is just the beginning now you have to start and kick ass and do something with it so the quicker you do the quicker you will get to swim in the stream ok get it
